Patrick Horner (he/him) is a Canadian based in Denmark, where he is deeply embedded in both the literary and technological communities. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Patrick has forged a distinguished career in developing advanced water treatment technologies. His literary contributions include his debut poetic novel, 'Refugia,' published by the University of Calgary Press in 2022. Patrick's passion for poetry and film has led him to significant roles such as the co-director of the Nature and Culture, Copenhagen International Poetry Film Festival, and as the Canadian Ambassador for the Poetic Phonotheque, an online international archive of multimedia poetry. His poetry and short fiction have garnered international recognition, appearing in various journals and magazines. Beyond his writing, Patrick is an active cultural organizer, facilitating writing workshops, readings, and collaborative cultural events, notably with cultural organizations like Red Door and Literaturhaus.
